A marketing agency working across Sussex
Sussex is not one market. A business in Brighton competes with agencies, startups and a crowded search landscape. A business in Chichester or Lewes competes with far fewer people for far fewer searches, which changes what is worth doing entirely. The same marketing plan applied across the county will overspend in one place and underreach in another. This page explains how we work across Sussex and where the differences actually sit.
Where we work
We work across both counties, from Chichester and Worthing in the west through Horsham, Crawley, Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath and East Grinstead in the middle, to Brighton and Hove, Lewes, Eastbourne and along the east coast. We only give a town its own page when we have real local work to show, so Burgess Hill and Horsham have theirs and the other towns are covered here.
What differs by town, and what does not
What does not differ: the technical foundations, the quality of your content, the strength of your reviews, and whether an AI assistant can read your business clearly. Those are the same job in Rye as in Hove.
What does differ: how competitive the local pack is, how much a click costs on paid search, whether there is enough local search volume to justify a location page at all, and which local publications and associations are worth pursuing for coverage. We do not build a town page unless there is something real to say on it.

Working with a local agency, honestly assessed
Being local is worth something real. We can stand in your premises, meet your team, photograph your work and understand who you actually compete with on the high street. That is not a small advantage and it is not one a remote agency replicates.
It is not worth everything, though. If a specialist elsewhere is genuinely better for a specific job, we will say so. Several of our clients have never visited the office, and the AI visibility work in particular is delivered anywhere in the UK.

Where we work
Our office is at 49 Edward Road in Haywards Heath, and most of our clients are within an hour of it. We are ten minutes from Burgess Hill, where we are members of the Business Parks Association, and about half an hour from Horsham, home of our client Bronzeleaf Tree Surgery. Beyond mid Sussex we work with businesses in Brighton and Hove, Crawley and the Gatwick area, Worthing, Chichester, Lewes, Eastbourne and East Grinstead, and further afield in Surrey and Kent when the fit is right. If your town is not named here, that is only because we have not written about it yet; get in touch and we will talk about what we can do for you.

Sussex Marketing Agency FAQs
Do you cover East Sussex as well as West Sussex?
Yes, both. In West Sussex we work with businesses in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Horsham, Crawley, Chichester, Worthing and East Grinstead, and in East Sussex in Brighton, Hove, Lewes and Eastbourne. Our office is in Haywards Heath, and Burgess Hill and Horsham have their own pages where we have local client work to show.
Are you more expensive than a London agency?
Generally no, and often noticeably less, without a difference in the work. What you give up is the scale of a large agency, and what you gain is that the people you met are the people doing the work.
Do I need to be in Sussex to work with you?
No. We market locally because trust is local, but we deliver UK wide. The Marketing School and the AI visibility work are entirely location independent.
Which Sussex towns are hardest to rank in?
Brighton and Hove by a distance, because of the density of competing businesses. Crawley and Horsham are moderately competitive. The smaller towns are frequently winnable within months rather than years.
