I’m looking internally at my business this month, and I’m super proud to report that my team is quite simply on it. We restructured the back end in 2025, carved out more areas of marketing that have shown positive results for our clients, all measured by the ROI mechanisms in place, and it’s all systems go.

I’m really impressed by the enthusiasm and professionalism exuded by each of my team members right now. If you’ve been following us these past few years, you’ll have noticed we have hit many bumps in our journey thus far when it comes to internal operations. Still, the main point I’m trying to make is that we’ve had experiences and learnt a lot.

It could have been easier to hire top-level professionals in various marketing fields. Still, as a small company, we didn’t have the budget, so I had to trust my team to deliver on what they are capable of, and I think this area is so often overlooked in management.

I get asked a few questions very regularly, and I wanted to share these with you.
Engaging Content Strategy.

Can your marketing team meet the challenges you set?

Well, mostly they can, sometimes I push the bar as I know they are capable of even greater heights, but getting that height right can lead to failure, overcooking the pudding, and it all falls apart. (My son always laughs when he hears my archaic phrases!)

What we did brilliantly last year was to set up processes in every department and essentially download my business brain, which, although I’m very fond of, cannot keep up with every element in the business now as we have grown. Still, more importantly, others in the company can follow.

Now I have more time to pursue other growth objectives as my team bolsters our foundations for growth and ultimately delivers exceptional marketing efforts for our client base.

Super wins for us in industrial, commercial, construction, and also high street sectors for marketing last year really galvanised our marketing mix for clients.

Are we using any new marketing techniques or platforms that magically deliver leads?

Sadly, no. It’s a mix tailored to our clients that ensures we have understood their business objectives, and once matched, we become more of a part of their company, and the relationship and results grow.

Generating leads is our primary focus. If you want an agency that delivers great branding or just great SEO, sorry, we are not that agency, as any stand-alone marketing element is not the key to growing a business; it’s a mix, in my opinion, and the results and positive testimonials from our clients emulate that perfectly.

I’m not sure any company has the marketing budget right now for vanity; every pound spent needs to deliver a tangible return. If Coca-Cola is now using AI-created trucks in its ad campaigns, it is also making its strategy more efficient!

What do you offer differently to other marketing agencies?

I think asking this question to our clients will confirm what I’m about to say, its that we are approachable and not all tied to shareholders demands for corporate domination, which makes us more human, we don’t need to sell you a specific product to hit a target, I don’t run my business like this, we usually work on a small project, and nine times out of ten we are then asked to increase the scope of works.

The relationship between agency and client grows and develops, a satisfying feeling for any agency owner, to see that your agency has a real, positive, demonstrable impact on the client you are serving.
