Google has officially announced the global rollout of two new AI-powered tools Ads Advisor and Analytics Advisor both developed on its Gemini AI model. As the founder of Phoenix Media Marketing, I’m genuinely excited about how these advancements will streamline optimisation, accelerate diagnostics, and enable us to deliver even faster results for our clients.
Starting in early December, these tools will become available in all English-language Google Ads and Google Analytics accounts worldwide.
Ads Advisor – Smarter Optimisation Inside Google Ads
Ads Advisor acts as an intelligent assistant within your Google Ads account. It evaluates performance, suggests improvements, and with your approval can apply those updates directly.
Key capabilities include:
- Intelligent optimisation suggestions
- Permission-based automated updates
- Keyword, headline, and ad copy generation
- Diagnostics that explain why performance changes
- Policy issue detection with suggested fixes
A standout feature is its ability to prepare campaigns for seasonal events. For example, if you ask how to get ready for Christmas, Ads Advisor may recommend sitelinks or seasonal creative, and then implement those changes once approved.
As a busy marketing professional, features like this are a game changer when your up against a deadline.
What the team at Google are saying
“Ads Advisor brings intelligent, real-time optimisation directly into the Google Ads interface. Built on Gemini, it helps advertisers take meaningful action faster and identify performance opportunities with greater clarity.”
Analytics Advisor, Conversational insights in GA4
Analytics Advisor introduces a conversational AI experience to Google Analytics Standard and GA360, making complex data easier to understand than ever.
Ask:
- “What caused the traffic spike yesterday?”
- “Which audience segment is most likely to re-engage?”
- “What’s holding back conversion growth?”
Analytics Advisor then responds with:
- Visual charts
- Insight summaries
- Key-driver analysis
- Step-by-step recommendations
This saves hours of manual reporting time and makes it easier to uncover opportunities that directly impact business performance.
From my agency’s perspective, this means we save time on your contractual hours, freeing up time on reports, we can enhance the value of our services to you.
What this means for Phoenix Media Marketing clients
During busy seasons, especially the winter retail period, speed is everything. These tools will:
- Reduce time spent diagnosing campaign issues
- Provide more precise explanations for performance changes
- Surface hidden growth opportunities
- Allow faster optimisation implementation
- Support better marketing decisions with AI-backed clarity
Our team will still guide strategy, refine creative, build campaigns, and ensure everything aligns with your business goals but now with even more powerful tools at our disposal.
Both advisors will appear automatically inside Google Ads and Google Analytics in the coming weeks. You’ll be able to use them directly through the interface, and we’ll integrate them into our workflow at Phoenix Media Marketing to further enhance campaign performance.
If you’d like help making the most of these new tools or want us to manage them entirely for you I’m here when you need me.

Why Old Fashioned Leaflet Marketing Still Works for Local Businesses
Rather than dismissing leaflet marketing as obsolete, treat it as a complementary strategy that enhances your digital efforts. For local businesses especially, combining traditional leaflets with SEO and online campaigns

Has your marketing team got off to a flying start this year too?
I’m looking internally at my business this month, and I’m super proud to report that my team is quite simply on it. We restructured the back end in 2025, carved out more areas of marketing that have shown positive results for our clients, all measured by the ROI mechanisms in place, and it’s all systems go.

2026 Marketing outlook: More leads, better leads, and less time wasted
If I’m honest about what I’m thinking about this year, it isn’t “brand archetypes” or the latest trendy acronym. It’s leads. It’s pipeline. It’s whether the enquiries coming in are the kind you can actually turn into revenue, without your team spending half their week answering the wrong questions from the wrong people.
